Abstract: WWF and Norway jointly announced the launch of the Nectar Fund, a new facility providing grants and technical assistance to African enterprises developing climate-adaptation and biodiversity-positive solutions. Backed by a three-year NOK 60 million commitment from Norway, the fund will support at least 14 enterprises in its initial phase with geographic focus on Kenya, Tanzania and Madagascar. The initiative aims to strengthen business models, impact measurement and investment readiness to enable African entrepreneurs to attract private capital and scale climate-resilient and nature-positive solutions that benefit communities and ecosystems on the front lines of climate change.
