Abstract: This Public-Private Partnership Strategy for Taita Taveta County provides a comprehensive roadmap to attract private investment in forest-based enterprises while operationalizing the County's Forest and Landscape Restoration Plan (FOLAREP). The strategy focuses on five priority forest value chains?beekeeping and honey products, tree nurseries and restoration enterprises, butterfly farming, herbal medicine, and ecotourism enterprises?to promote nature-positive, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth while restoring biodiversity and improving local livelihoods. The strategy establishes a coherent framework for developing and managing forest restoration public-private partnerships, enhances investment readiness by linking value chain producers with private investors through clear partnership models, and transforms restoration opportunities into sustainable income sources. Implementation will establish a functional County PPP Desk, develop five investment prospectuses showcasing bankable opportunities, create operational PPP models linking Community Forest Associations, cooperatives, community groups, government, and private partners, and increase private capital flows into green enterprises. The strategy aligns with national legislation including the Climate Change Act (2016), Forest Conservation and Management Act (2016), and PPP Act (2021), as well as global commitments under the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth),
