Abstract: This study investigates how environmental conservation strategies influence sustainable tourism development in communal group ranches in Laikipia County, Kenya. Using an embedded mixed methods design, it analyzes data from 392 participants including ranch members, leaders, and tourists. Key strategies examined include biodiversity protection, land use planning, mitigation of community-wildlife conflict, and waste disposal mechanisms. Findings reveal a statistically significant relationship between conservation efforts and tourism sustainability. The study recommends stronger policy enforcement and highlights the importance of ecological stewardship in preserving Laikipia?s biodiversity and cultural heritage.
