Abstract: This technical report models scenarios for Kenya?s electric cooking transition using OSeMOSYS and BAR-HAP tools. It evaluates emissions, health impacts, and electricity demand through 2050 under five scenarios. It highlights the social and economic costs of continued biomass reliance, and quantifies benefits of interventions such as appliance subsidies and tariff reforms. With potential CO? savings exceeding 24 million tonnes, the report emphasizes stacking behavior, grid readiness, and targeted investment. It supports strategic decision-making and policy alignment.
