Abstract: The TAMSAT-ALERT v1.2.1 model enables ensemble-based forecasting for environmental hazards without embedded crop models. It supports probabilistic predictions for NDVI, rainfall, and SPI3 across semi-arid regions like Kenya. It allows real-time monitoring, skill scoring, and climate variability integration (e.g., ENSO). Applications include early warning system design and humanitarian agency deployment. Three case studies are presented?UK, Pakistan, and Africa?demonstrating model flexibility.
