Abstract: This working paper consolidates findings from early deployment of electric pressure cookers (EPCs) across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. It measures impacts on cost savings, cooking time, health benefits, and carbon reductions, and models large-scale uptake using WHO?s BAR-HAP tool. High user satisfaction and rapid adoption are documented, with Kenya leading implementation. The document emphasizes training, after-sales service, and appliance monitoring through digital platforms, supporting broader climate and health co-benefits.
