Abstract: This report applies the SAVi (Sustainable Asset Valuation) methodology to nature-based infrastructure interventions in Kenya?s Mau West and Cherangany Hills, part of INReMP. Using climate-adjusted modeling and EU Copernicus datasets, the report contrasts costs and benefits of agroforestry, afforestation, wetland restoration, and pasture rehabilitation against business-as-usual. Findings reveal significant gains, such as avoided crop losses worth $484M, agroforestry value estimated at $915M, and carbon sequestration of 3.2M tonnes CO?. Benefit?cost ratios between 1.82?2.15 confirm the viability of NBI even under high-emissions scenarios (SSP 3?5). The report provides actionable inputs for policy reforms, resilience-building investments, and smallholder inclusion into climate finance. Spatial overlays guide site prioritization, while scenario pathways help align restoration plans with Kenya?s adaptation goals and NDC targets.
