Abstract: This policy brief summarizes findings from Kenya?s renewable energy roadmap report, promoting the shift to full RE generation by 2050. It outlines scenarios comparing BAU and RE transitions, estimating costs and emissions impacts. Recommended actions include infrastructure development, diversified energy mix, energy efficiency improvements, transport electrification, sustainable biomass use, and clean cooking promotion. Solar and wind are emphasized for scale-up. Policy reforms are advocated across budgetary, regulatory, and community levels.
