Abstract: This review compiles recent literature on forced displacement across Africa and the Middle East, with studies relevant to Kenya. Topics include food insecurity and empowerment in Nairobi refugee settlements, electricity access and health service use across Uganda, Zambia, Somalia, and Jordan. It highlights issues of social cohesion, legal residency, women?s safety, and humanitarian cash transfers. The report promotes community-based support systems and integrated approaches to resilience, emphasizing inclusive policy design for displaced populations.
