Abstract: This report summarizes Kenya?s national energy metrics for FY 2023/2024, including electricity generation, captive installations, petroleum trends, and regulatory progress. Installed capacity reached 3,778.5 MW with renewables contributing 79.89%. Electric mobility usage grew under a new tariff, and Kenya?s first green hydrogen plant was commissioned. Net metering regulations were gazetted. Off-grid systems expanded across 28 counties. LPG uptake improved following tax relief, and retail fuel quality compliance hit 98%. Data includes market competition indices, system losses, regional distribution infrastructure, and consumer profiles.
