Abstract: This study analyzes climate stress and NTFP availability in Kitui County forests. Community perceptions show rising temperatures and reduced rainfall (2018?2023), disrupting harvesting of fuelwood, medicine, and wild edibles. Socio-economic traits (education, occupation, tenure) shape vulnerability. Recommendations include seedling programs, sustainable forest farming, and integrating local data into conservation policy.
