Abstract: This final report presents a JICA-led climate vulnerability and water resource assessment across eight African nations, including Kenya. It reviews IWRM frameworks, climate projections, water demand by sector, and institutional capacity for adaptation planning. Kenya?s section features basin-level drought mapping, ND-GAIN indices, and stakeholder coordination mechanisms. The document proposes targeted investments, basin-specific support measures, and international donor alignment for climate-smart water development. It complements national strategies while identifying gaps in hydrological data and infrastructure resilience planning.
