Abstract: This hackathon report documents cross-sector analysis of climate-induced migration data in East and Horn of Africa, integrating IOM?s displacement tracking with climate datasets. Conducted in Nairobi and London, it showcases innovations in geocoding, drought index analysis (e.g. PDSI), and LASSO modeling to improve mobility forecasts. It identifies challenges in metadata availability, spatial heterogeneity, and interoperability across humanitarian data platforms. The report promotes open-access data sharing, climate-displacement mapping, and analytics to inform future policy and adaptation measures at regional levels.
