Abstract: This strategy guides ecosystem restoration across 36 African states under the AU Great Green Wall from 2024?2034. It shifts from tree belts to integrated landscape mosaics including rangelands, agroforestry, and pastoral zones. Core pillars include ecosystem health, gender equity, youth inclusion, food systems, and climate resilience. It aligns with SDGs, Agenda 2063, AU Climate Strategy, AFR100, and UN Decade on Restoration. Governance tools cover reporting protocols, environmental safeguards, co-design mechanisms, and monitoring metrics. Kenya is listed as a prospective member with plans for dryland restoration. Implementation frameworks span capacity building, finance access, indigenous knowledge integration, and digital mapping systems. Spatial and financial dashboards support performance tracking. The strategy aims for regenerative development across Sahel, Horn, and Eastern drylands.
