Abstract: This country-specific assessment evaluates Kenya?s readiness for deploying Power-to-X (PtX) technologies?particularly green hydrogen and ammonia?powered by geothermal energy. Kenya?s geothermal strength in Olkaria and Menengai gives it reliable baseload supply and direct heat for industrial PtX processes. The report identifies three target zones: Mombasa (port-based export), Nairobi (R&D and industrial clusters), and Olkaria (power generation corridor). It discusses non-condensable gases (H?, CO?) in geothermal effluent streams and their role in synthetic fuel processes. Infrastructure limitations (water access, transmission capacity) are considered alongside policy ambitions for 100% renewable electricity and net-zero by 2050. The report explores global benchmarks and introduces a roadmap for grid-coupled PtX deployment. Stakeholder
