Abstract: This study presents geothermal energy integration into PtX systems, analyzing use cases in Kenya (Oserian), Chile, and El Salvador. It evaluates electrolyser types, cost profiles ($3?5/kg H?), co-generated gases, and heat applications. Kenya?s plant supports green ammonia production and hydrogen refueling for shipping. The paper includes risk assessments, global benchmarks, and technical readiness levels. Geothermal?s baseload nature and availability make it ideal for continuous hydrogen generation. Co-benefits include carbon capture and e-fuels from geothermal CO? and H?.
