Abstract: This report summarizes climate hazard profiling and risk analysis conducted across West Pokot?s 20 wards. Through a participatory methodology involving community consultations and local planning groups, the study identified drought, flooding, and heatwaves as primary threats to agriculture, water, livestock, and infrastructure. The document outlines localized strategies for adaptation including water harvesting technologies, community disaster training, and flood-proofing infrastructure. It includes spatial hazard maps and links interventions to the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and CCCF policy instruments. Technical assessments cover climate data trends and gaps in early warning systems, while governance recommendations stress transparency and accountability. It serves as both a diagnostic and planning tool for grassroots resilience, integrating scientific analysis with lived experience to prioritize actions under FLLoCA funding.
