Abstract: This report talks about the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Framework developed by the County Government of Kiambu under the Financing Locally Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Programme. Spearheaded by the Department of Water, Environment, Natural Resources, Energy and Climate Change (WENRECC) and the County Climate Change Unit (CCCU), the framework provides a structured, transparent, and accountable system to handle complaints and grievances that may arise during the design and implementation of climate-related projects. It is grounded in key principles such as accessibility, objectivity, confidentiality, responsiveness, and accountability to ensure that all stakeholders, especially project-affected persons (PAPs), have a fair opportunity to raise and resolve concerns.
