Abstract: This report highlights the alarming decline in AfricaƂ?s biodiversity, affecting over 6,400 animal species and 3,100 plant species. It explores the connection between biodiversity loss, food insecurity, and human security, emphasizing land-use changes and climate change as primary drivers. The study advocates for ecological diplomacy through AU and RECs to mitigate these risks.
