Abstract: NCCAP 2018-2022 builds on the first action plan (2013-2017),sets out actions to implement the Climate Change Act (2016),and provides a framework for Kenya to deliver on its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to the Paris Agreement (see Box 1). The actions in NCCAP 2018-2022 were developed through extensive consultations with over 1,000 stakeholders from Parliament,national and county governments,civil society,private sector,youth groups,womenâ??s groups,and representatives from marginalised and minority groups including persons with disabilities,pastoralists,forest resource users,and fisher communities. The Ministry of Environment and Forests led the development of NCCAP 2018-2022 through the NCCAP Task Force that was gazetted by the Cabinet Secretary
