Abstract: The objective of this study was to analyze four forest carbon projects in three eastern Africa countries to better understand their challenges and successes in terms of climate change mitigation,biodiversity conservation and community development. The study was commissioned by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under its Forest Carbon,Markets and Communities program (FCMC)
