Abstract: Climate change is a global threat that simply cannot be ignored. The world is witnessing its devastating effects, with unprecedented droughts, floods and heatwaves becoming regular occurrences. Given the immediate and long-term costs associated with these dramatic events, every country should be doing everything in its power to reduce global warming. Kenya is committed to supporting the global fight against climate change. Not only is it a sense of duty that compels us to act, but it is an opportunity to transform our society and build a healthier, more prosperous future for all our people. With the right measures, we can continue to expand Kenyaâ??s economy and improve the quality of our social infrastructure while relying on sustainable clean energy.
