Abstract: This document provides an up-to-date overview of the achievements of Eastern African countries in the most relevant carbon crediting standards, compiling recent data on carbon market activities and carbon credit issuances. Covering the seven members of the Alliance (Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda), this portfolio focuses on the main highlights of each member country’s carbon market profile and summarizes key findings in a regional profile.
