Using the EDM toolkit to analyse impact: a small-scale horticulture project in Kenya

Abstract: This report analyses this greenhouse component of the project using the energy delivery model (EDM) toolkit, the foundations of which were developed by IIED and CAFOD in 2013. The EDM is a participatory framework for designing energy services for poor men and women, building on the insights of previous practice and research. It aims to ensure end users are fully involved in the design of the energy service, so the service is customised to meet the end users’ needs and local context and financially, socially and environmentally sustainable, delivering maximum impact.
